**Job Title: General Production Worker $16.50-$18.15 an hour!** **Job Description** Join a leading garage door manufacturing company known for its robust and high-quality products. We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers for a long-term, full-time opportunity. This position begins with a 90-day contract, after which you may be hired permanently. The busy season aligns with the construction period, primarily during the summer months. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret tape measures and operate hand and power tools. + Perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition and subtraction. + Engage in physical tasks including bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching. + Collaborate with team members to lift and handle up to 100 lbs. + Clean work areas and store tools properly. + Assemble garage door sections by adding bottom seals, end caps, and panels. + Label panels and work as part of a team. + Read and fulfill orders accurately. + Handle physical tasks such as hand loading trucks, unloading incoming shipments, and verifying shipments. + Replenish and transfer materials to various departments and maintain clean work areas. + Empty dumpsters daily and manage materials, including inventory and product replenishment. + Use Excel for material tracking and communicate with suppliers. + Perform assembly tasks such as installing windows and finishing panels using routers. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure and operate hand and power tools. + Basic mathematical skills for addition and subtraction. + Physical capability for bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching. + Team lifting capability up to 100 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + At least 1-3 months of experience in manufacturing. + Proficiency in using Excel for material tracking. + Ability to read and interpret orders. **Why Work Here?** Experience a stable, full-time role with immediate benefits upon permanent hire. Expect a possibility of weekend work if needed. Training is conducted on your assigned shift, and orientation begins at 7am for day shift and 2:30pm for 2nd shift. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans, and work shirts, with cut-resistant sleeves provided. A focus on safety and teamwork enhances the work experience. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.15/hr.
