**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Operate all machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for the customer, following work instructions diligently. **Responsibilities** + Learn and apply gauging techniques for products as required. + Move materials and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock as needed. + Maintain documentation related to production, quality, and equipment. + Understand quality alerts and report issues to the team lead. + Repair defective or rejected production parts on a daily basis. + Analyze defects and assist with corrective action programs. **Essential Skills** + Manufacturing. + Recent role as a production worker, operator, or assembler for at least 2 years. + Good tenure at each position held. + Assembly experience in manufacturing. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Gauge experience is a nice-to-have. **Why Work Here?** Join a newly established plant with exciting opportunities for growth and innovation. The facility is a global supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission, and electric drive components and systems, supporting customers with new products for efficient hybrid and electrified powertrains. The renovated plant features new electrical systems, CNC machinist production lines, conveyors, carousel assembly equipment, and robotic weld cells. Production is set to begin at the start of the year, following the move of machinery to Michigan during the Thanksgiving weekend. The work involves various machines, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
