**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
As a General Production Worker, you will follow work instructions to operate machines and testing equipment to assemble high-quality pumps. Your role will involve learning to gauge products, moving materials within the work area, replenishing stock, maintaining production and quality documentation, understanding quality alerts, and repairing defective parts. This position requires availability for the 3rd shift from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and the ability to work 7 days a week.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate machines and testing equipment to assemble pumps.
+ Learn and apply gauging techniques for quality assurance.
+ Move materials and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock as needed.
+ Maintain accurate production, quality, and equipment documentation.
+ Understand and respond to quality alerts, reporting issues to the team lead.
+ Repair and analyze defective production parts daily, assisting with corrective actions.
**Essential Skills**
+ Manufacturing with at least 2 years in a production worker, operator, or assembler role.
+ Good tenure in previous positions.
+ Assembly experience in manufacturing.
+ Ability to lift 40 lbs to move and stack pumps for shipping.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with gauge operation is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This is a new plant located in Warren, MI, having moved from Oklahoma. The facility works with major automotive companies and supports new product development for efficient hybrid and electrified powertrains. The renovated facility includes advanced machinery such as CNC machining lines, conveyors, carousel assembly equipment, and robotic weld cells. The plant operates various machines including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical equipment, making it an exciting and dynamic work environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
