**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves operating assigned machinery and equipment, as well as handling materials in a safe and productive manner. The position requires adherence to safety policies and practices, along with the ability to perform quality inspections and maintain housekeeping standards within the work area. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery and equipment as assigned to produce units and handle materials. + Adhere to Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions for safe and productive operations. + Follow all applicable safety policies, including using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring machine guards and safety features are operational. + Load and unload raw goods and/or finished products. + Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure quality. + Maintain housekeeping and general maintenance within the work area. + Comply with workplace rules and procedures. + Perform operations assignments as directed by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently. + Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested. + Comfortable with continuous standing and frequent lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, twisting, reaching, and grasping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A high school diploma or GED is preferred. + Entry-level position with little or no prior manufacturing production experience required. + Occasional climbing and balancing. **Work Environment** The position operates on Shift 1, which runs from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. The work environment requires the use of general production equipment for loading, unloading, and inspection tasks.
