**Job Title: General Production Worker**
**Job Description**
This role involves working in a production environment where high-quality ink is manufactured for a variety of industries. You will be trained to mix ink using a process sheet, similar to following a recipe. Your responsibilities will include preparing mixers by loading raw materials, monitoring mixing processes, performing routine tests, and filling bottles with the final product.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manufacture fluids by following formulas.
+ Prepare mixer by weighing and loading raw materials.
+ Monitor the mixing process and perform routine product tests.
+ Package fluids by labeling and containerizing according to specifications.
+ Operate packaging equipment such as pumps, sealers, and scales.
+ Complete necessary job paperwork, checklists, and forms.
+ Clean up equipment used in the manufacturing process.
+ Assist with cleaning the area or operating a press to seal ink cartridges during downtime.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of mixing experience
+ Ability to lift 45 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
+ Comfortable working with substances like solvents, resins, alcohol, lubricants, and dyes.
+ Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently following written and verbal instructions.
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with color matching, packaging, batching, and machine operation.
+ General production and warehouse experience.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a small warehouse/production environment, with 5-10 people working together at any time. It is important to note that it can smell like ink, and you may get ink on your clothes. Uniforms and steel-toed shoes are provided. The work environment is climate-controlled but can get hot and humid in the summer and cooler in the winter. Regular shifts are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with some optional overtime. The team is very laid-back and team-oriented, emphasizing the importance of everyone contributing equally.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fridley, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
