**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** The General Production Worker will design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures used in production processes. The role involves studying blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, as well as sequence of operations and setup requirements. **Responsibilities** + Design and develop tools, jigs, and fixtures used in production. + Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces. + Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpieces as guides for subsequent machining. + Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, assembly, general labor, and machine operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or general education degree. **Work Environment** The work environment involves operating various machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers. Employees may need to adhere to safety guidelines while handling cutting tools and other accessories. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Monroe City, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.00/hr.
