General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in our machining and metal fabrication processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a rapidly growing company. **Responsibilities** + Produce parts and tools from metal or other materials using a laser, a CNC piece of equipment that makes precision cuts into materials. + Review blueprints for the finished product, adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and path of the cut, and ensure machines are properly set up and functioning optimally. + Ensure machines operate at full capacity, are stocked with necessary materials, and perform periodic checks on output. + Inspect the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next production step. **Essential Skills** + At least 3 years of manufacturing work history. + Experience with production machinery for a minimum of 3 years. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools, with the ability to perform basic mechanical repairs. + Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration. + Attention to detail and quality assurance with experience using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with laser equipment/machinery. + Ability to read and analyze blueprints. + Strong mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. + High School Diploma or Equivalent. + Aptitude for computer skills related to setting up and tearing down equipment. **Why Work Here?** Be a part of a family-owned company with over 40 years of industry experience. Engage in a job shop environment with a fast-paced yet easy-going atmosphere. Collaborate with other welders and set up welds. The role is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential Saturday hours as needed. Dress code includes jeans, a shirt, and steel-toe boots, with uniforms provided once hired directly. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
