**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** A dynamic manufacturing company specializing in premium labels is seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join their rewinding department. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork are essential. **Responsibilities** + Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures. + Attain and maintain all defined job objectives related to the planning and execution of all jobs and quick changes. + Assist in the performance of all external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities. + Assist in the performance of all external clean-up activities following changeover. + Clean ink pans and ancillary equipment. + Strip plates from cylinders. + Locate dies to and from press. + May be required to work with the press operator to view labels with assistance from a strobe light. + Comply with quality assurance specifications. + Complete quality assurance sheets and associated documentation as required. + Ensure cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace. + Work overtime as needed and assigned. + Perform related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Must be bilingual in Spanish. + At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. + Ability to communicate and interact well with others (verbally and in written form); seen as a team player. + Ability to read and understand a job ticket. + Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements. + Ability correctable to 20/20 vision. + Ability to differentiate colors. + Ability to input data into a computer. + Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency. + Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions. + Ability to stand and move around the press area for long periods. + Physical demands include standing, using hands to feel and touch, reaching with arms and hands, talking, and hearing. + Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Print shop experience is helpful but not required. + Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment. + Assertive and solution-focused. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k). Jewelry is not permitted. Shift options include Swing (1PM - 9:30PM Monday-Friday) and Night (9PM - 5:30AM Sunday-Thursday). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.90 - $20.65/hr.
