Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will be integral to the production line operations for a new ramp-up with a leading automotive company. Your role will involve assembling materials, operating machinery, and ensuring quality inspection of parts before they are shipped out. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is crucial.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble materials and operate machines on the production line.Lift and inspect parts before packaging them for shipment.Assemble components as needed.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Essential Skills6 months of recent manufacturing experience.Ability to lift 40 lbs.Visual inspection experience to identify defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.Longevity in previous roles, with 8 months or longer at the past three jobs.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment that is undergoing improvements for a cleaner workspace. Join a tight-knit team of six, where you'll oversee operations. The role requires wearing work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and face protection. The shift runs from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
