Job Title: Wire Processing Associate

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team in a hands-on role supporting the production of lighting fixtures. This position involves rolling, cutting, and measuring electrical cord used in circuits, LED products, energy-efficient ballasts, lighting control systems, and wiring assemblies. Flexibility is key, as responsibilities may vary day to day.

Key Responsibilities:

Roll large spools of electrical cord (up to 1,000 feet)Stage, measure, and cut cord to order specificationsStack and wrap pallets for shipmentOccasionally cut large spools of wire to customer specsLift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 75 lbs with a partner in the scrap departmentAssist machine wire operators by matching inventory tags to work ordersTrain to become a machine operator, including setting up and running wire-cutting machinesMark wire for cutting based on order sheet instructionsSupport the wire scrap department by manually pulling wire into bins

Skills & Qualifications:

Forklift operationOrder pulling and shipping experiencePackaging and order pickingCherry picker and reach truck experience (preferred)RF scanner experience (preferred)Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Work Environment:

Non-climate-controlled facility (hot in summer, cold in winter)Clean and organized 265,000 sq. ft. workspaceLarge industrial fans for air circulationTeam-oriented culture with daily pre-shift huddles and gamesIcee and popcorn machines in the breakroom

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
