Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

The candidate will work across various departments in the mill, including stacking lumber, feeding vertical edgers, stacking slabs of wood, or operating the automatic stalker in the pallet mill. Once acclimated to the position, candidates will receive OSHA training for forklift operation.

ResponsibilitiesStack lumber and slabs of wood.Feed vertical edgers.Operate the automatic stalker in the pallet mill.Undergo OSHA training for forklift operation.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of manufacturing experience.Ability to stand on feet for 10 hours a day.Two references related to manufacturing or general labor.Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months of forklift experience is preferred.6 months of farmhand experience is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The candidate will work in a fast-paced mill setting that is loud and dusty, alongside a team of about 10 employees. Steel-toed boots and jeans are required at all times. Be aware of the possibility of getting a few slivers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Preston, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
