General Laborer

Job Description

The role involves putting a metal fitting on the end of bulk hoses used in truck manufacturing. This requires proficiency in reading a tape measure, as well as basic computer and math skills such as addition and subtraction.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble metal fittings on the ends of bulk hoses.Read and interpret tape measures accurately.Utilize basic computer skills for label creation.Perform math calculations including adding and subtracting.Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading tape measures.Basic computer skills.Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.Experience with hand tools and general labor tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in machine operation and construction.Physical ability to perform demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.Familiarity with packaging and general production processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring physical activity. Employees are required to wear steel-toe shoes (not provided) along with safety glasses and safety vests (provided). The team currently consists of three employees with varying lengths of tenure and is looking to expand. Training is structured to gradually introduce new responsibilities, starting with simple tasks such as putting caps on fittings and making hose labels.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dodge Center, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
