Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will be responsible for various general labor duties essential to our food manufacturing process. This position requires operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure high-quality production.

ResponsibilitiesOperate the Rapid-Pak machine efficiently.Use the vacuum seal machine at an entry-level.Carry and stage metal trays for machine operators.Organize and sanitize metal trays for cheese storage.Sweep and mop floors to prevent debris contamination.Scoop cheese from the mixing bin to the cheese trough using a shovel.Sanitize cheese troughs after each batch.Transfer cheese from troughs to machines for sorting.Weigh and sort cheese before sealing.Seal cheese and place sealed packages into boxes.Wash and sanitize hands approximately 20 times per day.Adhere to GMP guidelines and use PPE as required.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in food manufacturing.Familiarity with GMP guidelines.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with vacuum seal machines is preferred.Knowledge of pasteurization processes.Understanding of dairy production.Sanitation skills.Bilingual abilities are a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled facility with temperatures ranging from 40-55 degrees. The position is on the 2nd shift, with hours from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Expect 5-10 hours of overtime. Candidates must adhere to GMP guidelines, including wearing hair nets and beard nets, and are required to wash hands frequently. Smoking is prohibited during shifts, including breaks and lunch.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
