**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** The Production Worker will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining packaging machinery. This position involves setting up machinery, operating auto packagers, cutters, and fillers, and ensuring the quality of packaged products. The worker will be responsible for managing jams, adjusting machinery components, and climbing ladders to perform tasks at heights. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain packaging machinery. + Set up machinery for production runs. + Adjust hoses, blades, and other components. + Add new film and roles to machinery. + Manage and unclog jams in machinery. + Check products for defects and ensure quality standards. + Operate machinery to fill, cut, seal, and package products. + Connect hoses to tankers and fillers. + Climb ladders to perform tasks at heights. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year GMP experience. + Minimum of 1 year packaging experience. + Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience. + Comfortable lifting 40 lbs. individually. + Comfortable climbing ladders and working on mezzanines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual is a plus. + Experience in blending and batch mixing is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** This company offers a profitable and expanding environment with opportunities for career advancement. The facility is pleasant and has a nice aroma, making it an inviting place to work. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
