**Job Title: Production Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Production Operator, where you will collaborate with other production operators to run lines and create batches for customers. This role is essential for ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards in our manufacturing processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Issue silver for batches.
+ Complete material and maintenance verifications.
+ Assist in troubleshooting material and process issues.
+ Coordinate efforts to pre-plan and stage for the next day.
+ Prioritize operator tasks according to release dates on the Open Order Report.
+ Assign repacks to operators to complete before shipping deadlines.
+ Help QC Lab troubleshoot production-related issues and be involved with the corrective action process.
+ Manage raw material inventory and perform cycle counting monthly.
+ Perform year-end inventory and review fast-moving or critical inventory items weekly; order as necessary.
+ Maintain critical material list and work with QC to ensure items are prioritized for testing.
+ Attend daily production meetings.
+ Become a Subject Matter Expert in Production, understanding all major processes and material chemistries.
+ Perform training for new hires, maintaining training records and establishing a robust training system.
+ Promote housekeeping initiatives and perform daily reviews and audits of areas.
+ Work with Plant Operations Manager to achieve packaging inventory goals and metrics.
+ Maintain process control over batches and operators, understanding P-FMEAs and using Control Plans effectively.
+ Audit Fork Lifts Inspection and ensure lifts are in good working condition.
+ Coordinate waste management activities with the Compliance team.
+ Participate in training activities, actively listening and engaging in presentations.
+ Act as an active member of the safety committee.
+ Serve as an Emergency Responder for fire, tornado, or other disasters.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years of Production line experience.
+ 2 years of Manufacturing experience.
+ 2 years of Line operation experience.
+ General safety knowledge.
+ Computer operation skills.
+ Manual labor capabilities.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ ERP system experience.
+ Ability to use a computer to implement information.
+ General reading and comprehension of production documents/work orders.

**Work Environment**
Experience a clean manufacturing environment with a single shift operation from Monday to Thursday, working ten-hour days in the first shift. The facility accommodates 50 employees, providing a well-structured and spacious setting for larger scale batch processing, handling drums and pallets of powder.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
