**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will receive training to operate safely and efficiently on one of the extrusion lines. You will be responsible for assisting machine operators, reading product specifications to determine necessary materials, performing quality checks, verifying accuracy, packing materials for shipping, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. **Responsibilities** + Assist machine operators with daily tasks. + Read product specifications to determine materials needed. + Perform quality checks on work and verify accuracy. + Pack material for shipping efficiently and securely. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in machine operation and general production processes. + Ability to effectively perform packaging tasks and operate on a packaging line. + Competence in using a tape measure and general labor skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read and interpret written instructions. + Proficiency in basic math. + Willingness to learn how to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a flexible attendance policy, opportunities for pay increases, and a team-oriented culture that promotes collaboration and growth. **Work Environment** Work in a non-climate controlled facility with three shifts available: 1st shift from 8am to 4:30pm, 2nd shift from 4pm to 12:30am, and 3rd shift from 12am to 8:30am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
