Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a key role in assembling materials and operating machines on the production line. Your duties will include inspecting parts before packaging them for shipment. This position offers rotational opportunities in various areas of the production line based on your preferences.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble materials and operate machines on the production line.Inspect parts for defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents before packaging.Lift and place components, such as car hoods made of plastic and foam, next to your station.Ensure quality inspection of all assembled parts.Rotate through various positions on the production line as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months recent experience in manufacturing, preferably as a production worker, operator, assembler, or in a warehouse position.Ability to lift 40 lbs safely and efficiently.Experience with visual inspection to identify defects on parts.Demonstrated job longevity with at least 8 months tenure at the past three jobs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in mechanical and machine operating is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is within a plastic manufacturing environment, which can be hot during summer months. You will work alongside other operators with oversight from a team leader. The dress code includes work pants, work shirt, closed-toed shoes, and safety glasses. Please note that long fingernails are prohibited due to safety controls.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.95 - $17.05/hr.
