**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and eager to contribute to the production process by managing material flow, operating machinery, and ensuring quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Convert micro-prism films and manage material flow to machines. + Load and unload film on machines and slit materials to specified widths and lengths. + Set up and perform splices as required. + Follow all ISO documentation and procedures. + Monitor machines, make necessary adjustments, and conduct quality checks to ensure product conformance. + Monitor and record pressure and ranges as needed. + Process work orders in ERP systems. + Retrieve required chemicals and materials for processing. + Enter maintenance requests in the Computer Maintenance Management System. + Maintain documentation of all machine reports. + Perform additional duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude. + Minimum of 6 months experience in an industrial environment. + Experience in assembly or machine operation preferred. + Open to candidates with trade school experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand and power tools. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inspection techniques. **Why Work Here?** We offer a generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and more. Training occurs on the 1st shift, with eventual placement on the appropriate shift. Safety is a priority; PPE such as steel or composite-toed shoes and safety glasses are required, with hearing protection in specific areas. The facility also features a gym accessible to all employees. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
