**General Production Worker - Carol Stream, IL** **3rd Shift - $22/hr** **Job Description** The Stacker Operator is tasked with operating the part of the corrugator that forms loads of sheets after the paper has been combined, slit, scored, and cut to length. This role requires careful monitoring and occasional manual adjustments to ensure smooth operations. **Responsibilities** + Monitor the automatic functions of the stacker and make manual adjustments when necessary. + Place tags in each load to identify the product. + Place bottom sheets and tie sheets in the loads to protect and stabilize the product. + Perform quality inspections such as board quality, sheet and score dimensions, and board caliper. + Record inspection results on the Factory Job Ticket and maintain SPC Charts for caliper readings. + Communicate with crew members to make adjustments when nonconforming product is identified. + Read work orders or follow oral instructions. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Production and general labor experience. + Ability to perform heavy lifting. + 3 months of manufacturing experience OR a high school diploma/GED. + Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions. + Basic math skills including addition and subtraction, and ability to read measuring equipment. + Basic computer skills to input production information into the system. + Experience with machine operation and industrial packaging. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy a supportive work environment with a range of benefits, including 2 weeks of PTO, holiday pay, health, vision, and dental insurance options.
