General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Engage in manual and mechanical tasks to support operations involving various equipment and tools for the fabrication and assembly of foam and plastic containers. Responsibilities include operating tools and equipment, and interpreting simple prints, drawings, and specifications. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of simple fabrication and assembly operations. + Pick parts and supplies from inventory as instructed. + Assist in setting up and operating cutting, drilling, saws, glue applicators, assembly tools, and drill presses. + Cut stock to proper dimensions and tolerances as instructed. + Conduct gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations. + Perform masking and painting as required. + Review product specifications on simple jobs. + Conduct necessary tests, visual inspections, and dimension checks. + Detect any out-of-specification conditions and notify a supervisor or manager. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using assembly tools such as glue guns and tape measures. + Basic math skills. + Ability to read and understand simple prints, drawings, and specifications. + Commitment to quality standards and safety precautions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable working 2 hours of overtime daily and some Saturdays. + Able to lift 20-30 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Join a reputable company with expansion on the horizon, offering the potential for permanent employment. **Work Environment** Work in a potentially loud environment on the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ontario, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
