We are seeking an experienced production worker for a manufacturing company in Carol Stream, IL. As a Production Worker you will be responsible for the operation of the part of the corrugator that forms load of sheets after the paper has been combined, slit, scored, and cut to length. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of production and manufacturing experience, basic math skills, and read and comprehend simple English instructions. The typical schedule will be 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) with training on 1st shift. Essential SkillsMonitor the automatic functions of the stacker and make manual adjustments when necessary.Place tags in each load to identify the product.Place bottom sheets and tie sheets in the loads to protect and stabilize the product.Perform quality inspections such as board quality, sheet, score dimensions, and board caliper.Record inspection results on the Factory Job Ticket and maintain SPC Charts for caliper readings.Communicate with crew members to make adjustments when nonconforming products are identified.Read work orders or follow oral instructions.Complete other duties as assigned.Essential Skills2+ Years Production & Manufacturing ExperienceAbility to Lift 50+ PoundsAbility to read and comprehend simple English instructions.Ability to add, subtract, and read measuring equipment.Basic computer skills to input production information into the system.Experience in machine operation, industrial production, and packaging.Work EnvironmentThe work environment can be a little warm during the summer months. Employees are required to wear appropriate safety gear.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.53 - $22.53/hr.
