**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment, producing quality electronic equipment. The successful candidate will be proficient in multiple tasks within their assigned area and will have the flexibility to work in various roles as needed. **Responsibilities** + Fabricate or assemble electronic equipment according to written work instructions. + Move between multiple work areas daily based on established patterns. + Deliver materials to the point of consumption in response to Kanban signals. + Accurately perform inventory transactions. + Actively participate in daily Tier 1 management system (DMS) meetings. + Contribute to continuous improvement projects. + Keep the work area well-organized and clean. + Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Familiarity with small parts and manufacturing experience (preferred). + Ability to read and interpret English and use computers. + Experience with assembly, production, and handling small hand tools. + Understanding of inventory transactions and Kanban systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 0-1 years of related work experience. + Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred but not required. + Familiarity with computers and Windows. **Why Work Here?** Our facility includes a full kitchen, game area with pool and ping pong tables, TV lounge, and a small library. The brand-new facility is designed like a football field, with raw materials at one end, followed by SMT & AOI machines, assembly/hand add area, and ending in the packaging/shipping department. You will primarily work in the assembly/hand add area. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tigard, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.55/hr.
