Job Description
This is an entry-level position where you will be involved in the manufacturing process of lenses for eyeglasses. The process is fairly automated and most of the positions will involve monitoring. This role requires the ability to work on your feet for 8 hours a day, read work instructions, and work independently.
ResponsibilitiesRead work instructions on orders for the dayMonitor automated lines to ensure continuous product flowPerform visual quality inspections to look for cracks and scratchesPerform prep work for the product, such as putting tape on and taking tape off the glassScan barcodes to ensure the proper item is in the proper bin orderCheck the shape of lenses to ensure they are prepared for accurate cuttingClean lenses in the finishing departmentEssential SkillsAbility to work on feet for 8 hours per dayAbility to read work instructionsAbility to work independentlyExperience in manufacturing is a plus, but not requiredWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
