**Job Title: Production Worker-3rd Shift** **Job Description** Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play an integral role in our production line during our new ramp-up with Ford. You will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machines, inspecting parts, and preparing items for shipment. Your role will also include maintaining a clean and safe working environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate and manage machinery on the production line. + Assemble materials and components as required. + Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met. + Package inspected parts for shipment. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 6 months recent experience in a manufacturing environment. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, including car hoods made of plastic and foam. + Experience in visual inspection of parts to identify defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents. + Demonstrated job stability with at least 8 months at each of the past three jobs. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in mechanical tasks. + Machine operating experience. **Why Work Here?** You will receive shift premiums even during training, and a monthly attendance bonus of $60. The team consists of six members whom you will oversee. Standard work attire includes work pants, a work shirt, closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, and face protection. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
