Job Title: General Production Worker (2nd Shift)
Job Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for mixing and distributing gel to Vertical Form Fill machines, monitoring raw material levels, and ensuring proper machine operation. You will perform quality checks to verify products meet customer and company standards, and assist in packing products and loading freezers or trucks as needed. You may also be trained to operate equipment to meet daily production requirements and company efficiency goals. Maintaining housekeeping standards and completing work order paperwork are also part of your duties.

ResponsibilitiesMix and distribute gel to Vertical Form Fill machines.Monitor raw material levels to keep machines running smoothly.Monitor equipment and make adjustments for optimal operation.Perform quality checks and maintain accurate records.Assist in packing products and loading freezers/trucks.Maintain housekeeping standards and cleanliness of production area.Complete work order paperwork.Essential Skills1-2 years of packaging experience preferred.Production or manufacturing experience required.Forklift operation skills.Machine operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with fill line or packaging equipment preferred.Previous machine operating experience, especially in the packaging industry, is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean packaging environment located in Pottstown. The shift hours are 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. Enjoy scheduled breaks around 5:45 to 6:00 PM and lunch from 7:30 to 8:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
