**Job Title: General Production - Machine Operator ($18/hr.)** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday work. This is a contract-to-hire position over a 90-day period. It is weekly pay and will be paid $27/hr. for any overtime hours worked. **Responsibilities** + Operate a variety of machines efficiently after training. + Inspect small parts like screws and bolts for quality defects. + Simultaneously run two machines based on workload. + Troubleshoot machines and assist with setups. + Work with epoxy and use hand tools for part adjustments. + Change pumps and perform machine setups. + Load and unload parts into machines. + Apply sealant to fasteners and hand-feed machines. + Package parts and perform quality inspections using micrometers. + Lift up to 40 lbs and engage in repetitive work while standing. + Operate an industrial patch machine requiring precise hand-eye coordination. + Cross-train in other departments as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year of machine operator experience. + Ability to lift 40 lbs. + Experience with quality inspection, machine setup, and calipers. + Proficiency in using hand tools for machine setup and changeovers. + Experience in loud industrial manufacturing environments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel toe boots required. + Availability for some Saturday shifts and early start times. + Preferred: Experience with machine changeovers and fast-paced production environments. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive work culture with opportunities for cross-training and growth.
