**Job Title: General Production** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Production worker in a dynamic manufacturing setting. **Responsibilities** + Inspect products with a strong attention to detail. + Engage in general production activities across the entire shop floor. + Read and understand blueprints to ensure product specifications are met. + Measure, cut, and operate machinery efficiently. + Utilize hand tools and manual machining techniques. + Perform crane operation as required. **Essential Skills** + Inspection experience with a focus on attention to detail. + General production experience in a manufacturing setting. + Ability to read and comprehend blueprints. + Proficiency in measuring and cutting materials. + Experience in operating machinery and using hand tools. + Capability to perform manual machining and crane operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A minimum of 2 years of direct production experience is ideal. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Successful completion of the PI Test. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity within a company with a rich history since 1941. The role involves a 50/50 split between office tasks such as verifying inventory and placing shipping orders, and hands-on work on the shop floor. Our facility includes four business units that manufacture seals, pumps, and air filter lines. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, Rhode Island. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
