Position Overview:
Working in concert with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) personnel to deliver curriculum for the Advanced Training program at a designated UTI campus. This position will provide instruction, coaching, technical expertise, and encouragement while allowing r students structured opportunities to improve their own proficiency. They will utilize state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and workshop exercises to enhance the technician’s automotive knowledge.
Participate in periodic Train-the-Trainer events with OEM.

Prepares, maintains, and obtains training aids, tools, and equipment in advance, for use in the classroom and lab.
Administrative: Maintains daily/weekly contact with National Program Director to coordinate training, staffing, vehicles, and equipment.Prepares weekly reports of activities as directed.Uses good judgement with travel and course delivery expenses Tests and evaluates student performance and provides counseling and guidance to at-risk students using proper documentationAdhere to all the guidelines of the UTI Travel PolicyOther duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively connect with technicians/students and fellow staffOrganizational Skills: Planning, prioritization skills, time management skills, and deadline-oriented, can adapt to a changing environmentComputer skills: Knowledge of MS OfficePatience and Empathy: A patient, motivational, and empathetic approach to teaching, understanding that every student/technician learns at their own paceProfessionalism: Problem-solving and decision-making skills, using good judgment, and able to support flexible/adaptable work schedules to exceed 15 poundsAbility to travel overnight, as neededWork Environment
