What you will have an opportunity to do:

What a great opportunity to lead the team at the The Phelps a unique Residence Inn in Downtown Cincinnati! This beautiful property has a very popular rooftop bar, a full-service restaurant, in room dining, and banquet event space. 

The General Manager has overall responsibility for the successful operation of the hotel and for meeting or exceeding its financial objectives. The General Manager of this property needs to be a hands-on and engaging leader and:

• Positive Culture Builder within our People-First organization.

- Directs the total operation of the hotel to maintain established cost and quality standards.

• Attains projected revenue and profit levels.

• Achieves guest satisfaction goals and ensures maintenance and security of the hotel's physical assets.

• Develops and updates the hotel business plan and monitors financial performance.

• Administers company policy and procedures.

• Active partner in the Community.

• Assures staff are recruited, selected, trained, counseled and rewarded to maintain performance standards while promoting our People First Culture.      

What are we looking for?

• College degree in Hotel Restaurant Management, Accounting/Finance, Business or equivalent.

• Proven record as a successful leader in a General Manager role showing positive financial returns and employee engagement survey results.

• Full-service GM with 3-5 years of progressive experience (preferably in a Marriott) and F&B experience required.

• Hands-on leadership and mentoring commitment for the team.

• Hotel renovation experience preferred.

• Extensive Food and Beverage experience required.    

Compensation:

$120,000.00
