Oversee management of all areas of the operations to produce products and direct activities so that approved products are manufactured on-schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives. Lead the management team and all aspects of the site, including new business development.
ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise a crew of 20.Assist in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs, objectives, and budgets.Develop the manufacturing organization and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations.Achieve optimum factory performance with minimal overhead and raw material costs to meet annual budgetary plans.Formulate and deploy manufacturing policies and programs to enhance competitive position and profitability.Direct and monitor all aspects of the operation to meet manufacturing objectives, consistent with safety procedures.Ensure effective communication between all departments regarding policies and performance matters.Recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce costs and scrap.Direct the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of production standards.Coordinate various programs essential to manufacturing processes, such as training, safety, and cost reduction.Lead and coordinate major projects, including plant layout changes and installation of capital equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications10+ years experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry.5 years of experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer.Familiarity with government contracts and DOD is a plus.Experience leading a fabrication operation is advantageous.BA/BS in engineering or business administration, or a degree in a related discipline.
