General Manager Salary: $50,000–$70,000/year Starting at $50K if not yet HU-certified | $53K–$70K once enrolled or certified Monthly performance-based bonus program available Be the Leader of the Restaurant As the General Manager, you’re the captain of the ship. This is the top leadership role at the restaurant level—responsible for overseeing all operations, driving results, developing future leaders, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. If you’re a seasoned manager with experience in high-volume restaurants, retail, or hospitality—and you're ready to take full ownership of a thriving business—this role is built for you. What You’ll Do: + Lead your restaurant team to achieve high standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness + Set performance goals and execute strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction + Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure long-term leadership stability + Partner with your Area Supervisor to align on goals, staffing, and execution + Create a workplace culture of accountability, recognition, and personal growth + Ensure safety, compliance, and brand standards are met daily Growth Through Hamburger University If not yet certified, you’ll be eligible to attend Hamburger University (HU) in Chicago—McDonald’s world-class leadership training program. Travel and tuition are fully paid by the organization. HU graduates move into the next salary band ($53K–$70K) and become eligible for expanded career opportunities within the company.
