Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 5 – Food to lead operations at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, the largest campus within the Lehigh Valley Health Network, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This 1,227-bed flagship facility represents one of the most dynamic and high-profile healthcare environments in the region.
Allentown is the fastest-growing major city in Pennsylvania and conveniently located just a short drive from Philadelphia.
This is a highly visible executive leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, patient satisfaction, and client partnership across a large, complex healthcare food service operation.
What You'll Do Provide strategic and operational oversight of daily food service operations (patient services and retail)Lead and develop a large, multi-layered management team and frontline workforce
Deliver high-quality food service and exceptional patient/customer experience
Achieve company and client financial targets, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance service, quality, and operational performance
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Ensure full compliance with Sodexo standards, HACCP, regulatory, and safety protocols

What You Bring Strong culinary production background in a high-volume healthcare or institutional settingDemonstrated leadership experience managing large teams in complex operations
Expertise in food safety, sanitation compliance, and regulatory standards
Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and interpreting performance reports
Menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
