Job Description:

GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER

Daily tasks will include, but may not be limited to:

 

Routine maintenance checks, and use of powered equipment (Forklift. Flatbed Truck, Van and indoor Bridge CranesLocal pickup and delivery of materials using company vehiclesMaterial Handling (Manual Lifting and Powered Equipment).Use of powered and manual hand tools to construct shipping crates, pallets, dunnage, and complete other miscellaneous tasks as needed.Support other work areas in the building when needed.Cleaning of work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and washing.Past experience in a mechanical or carpentry type environment is preferred.Must possess drivers license, and be able to pass drug screen and driver's physical.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to use basic hand tools, including drills, drivers and measuring tape.Location: Pawcatuck, CT

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $20.24 - $25.30. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
