**Job Title: General Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This role involves performing preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs on material-handling and other Distribution Center (DC) equipment. The technician will utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained in line with manufacturer recommendations and best maintenance practices. **Responsibilities** + Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks on distribution machinery and equipment. + Conduct minor mechanical repairs to maintain efficient operation of material handling equipment. + Utilize CMMS-generated preventive maintenance worksheets. + Clear jams and remove foreign materials to ensure smooth operation of equipment. + Perform general building maintenance, including lamp replacement and simple construction tasks. + Conduct wiring, repair of overhead doors, and plumbing as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience in preventive maintenance and conveyor maintenance. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with basic hand and power tools. + Skills in electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to modify racking and adapt quickly based on feedback. **Why Work Here?** Join a team where your mechanical skills will be valued and developed.
