**Maintenance Technician / Mechanic - 1st shift $28/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance Technician for a 1st Shift position. The role involves performing both preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including presses, welding machines, and conveyors. The candidate will also work extensively with mechanical systems, specifically hydraulics and pneumatics. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial equipment. + Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, paint booths, large industrial presses, and welding machines. + Work on mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics. + Remain on feet throughout the shift to ensure the smooth operation of equipment. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems. + Experience with industrial maintenance + Ability to read and understand blueprints. + Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Mechanical troubleshooting experience. **Why Work Here?** **Enjoy a 4-day work week - 5 AM to 3:30 PM.** **Work Environment** The work takes place in a large industrial manufacturing facility, which is non-climate controlled. The environment can be loud depending on the area, but all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided. Safety is a top priority in this well-maintained, though older, facility. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
