Job Title: General Maintenance MechanicJob Description

The General Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for repairing building structures and mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems. This role also involves general maintenance on machinery.

ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, or sanitary systems.Keep in good repair building woodwork, wall, floor, and other surface treatments.Replace electrical switches, fixtures, and motors.Conduct painting or touch-up work on structures or equipment.Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, household appliances, and equipment; replace broken window panes.Perform other related duties as assigned, including work in other classifications when necessary.Essential SkillsBasic practical knowledge of several maintenance trades.Proper use of tools and equipment commonly used in the maintenance field.Ability to complete all mandated training requirements.Timely and cost-effective performance of duties.Ability to work well under pressure.Additional Skills & QualificationsSkill in carpentry, construction, and production.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, cleaning, loading, and landscaping.Experience dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner.Adherence to established company safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices.Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.54 - $38.54/hr.
