Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a General Machinist II to join their team. As a General Machinist II, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various projects. Job Title: General Machinist II Location: Pomona, CA Pay Range: $22 - $28 hr Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. What's the Job? + Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables. + Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools, including CNC tools. + Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools. + Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications. + Edit and write simple programs as needed for machine operations. What's Needed? + Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, charts & tables. + Needs to be able to edit programs and write simple programs. + Needs to work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints. + Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools. + Monitor speed and feed of machines during the machining process. + Able to edit programs and write simple programs. + Must have both CNC and Manual experience. + Prefer them to have both FANUC and HAAS controls for Lathes. + The types of machines we have are HAAS CNC Lathes, FEMCO CNC Lathes, CHEVALIER CNC Lathes, If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
