Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a General Baker Worker to join their team. As a General Baker Worker, you will be part of the production team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment, and the ability to follow detailed instructions which will align successfully in the organization. **Functional Responsibilities & Duties** As a valued team member in our food processing operations, you will contribute to a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment through the following responsibilities: **Teamwork & Collaboration** + Foster a positive and cooperative team atmosphere. + Provide support and relief to fellow team members during breaks and shift transitions. + Assist in training and mentoring new employees to ensure smooth onboarding. **Safety & Cleanliness** + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. + Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety protocols. + Operate grinders and other equipment safely and efficiently. **Production & Packaging** + Ensure packaging materials are ordered and stocked to prevent production delays. + Understand and follow product packaging specifications and production schedules. + Prepare and attach accurate documentation (e.g., skid tags) to finished goods. + Transport finished pallets to the warehouse and return unused materials securely. **Quality Assurance** + Perform all required quality and food safety testing with precision and care. + Maintain correct date codes and lot tracking using scanners. + Accurately weigh and report scrap materials at the end of each shift. + Notify supervision promptly of any issues or irregularities. **Technical & Operational Support** + Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) data entry according to established procedures. + Submit work orders as needed and assist with machine setup, changeovers, and cleaning. + Provide backup support in batching, mixing, and operating processing/packaging equipment. + Maintain valid certification for operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). **Documentation & Communication** + Complete all required paperwork legibly, accurately, and on time. + Read and follow written instructions from packaging specification and formula sheets. + Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations. **Other Duties** + Catch, box, and tag products designated for end dump. + Perform simple mathematical calculations as needed. + Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support overall production goals.
