Job Title: General Labourer

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated labourers to join our team and contribute to residential and commercial projects across the Fraser Valley. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying materials, tearing off existing roofs, cleaning up debris, sweeping, passing shingles, and working on pitched roofs. Training is available for the right candidates, and comfort with heights is essential.

ResponsibilitiesCarry materials for roofing projects.Tear off existing roofs and prepare surfaces for new installations.Clean up debris and maintain tidy work areas.Sweep and prepare roof surfaces for shingle placement.Pass shingles to team members during installations.Work comfortably on pitched roofs and at heights.Essential SkillsGeneral labor and construction experience.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Roofing experience.Ability to work in various weather conditions including rain, heat, and snow.Capability to lift 50 lbs consistently.Experience working at heights.Steel toe boots required.Reliable transportation.Additional Skills & Qualifications6+ months of work experience.Good communication skills.Fall protection and first aid certifications are advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Projects primarily involve single-family residences located in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Hope, Langley, and Merritt. Work hours are typically 8 hours per day starting at 7am, with variations depending on the season. The work is conducted outdoors, often in various weather conditions, with occasional shutdowns due to snowfall or frost. The role involves working on both residential and commercial projects.
