**Job Title: General Laborer - Custom Cabinet Manufacturing - WEEKLY PAY - $17 to $20/hour** **Job Description** Join a leading manufacturer of custom cabinets where every candidate begins their journey in the trim department. This role offers the unique opportunity to rotate through various departments, gain diverse skills, and advance within the company. This is an engaging position where you will contribute to the creation of high-quality, custom cabinetry. **Responsibilities** + Follow detailed job instructions, ensuring a thorough inspection of your work and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. + Perform edge sanding using an orbital sander on doors and headers. + Conduct mid inspection to identify and repair loose components. + Catch panels off the panel sander for further processing. + Hang components onto a paint line. + Install hinges on doors. + Measure components, match order forms with products, and install shelves, roll tray tracks, and inner components. + Screw in roll tray tracks, hang doors, and install drawers. + Package finished cabinets into cardboard boxes. + Quickly remove stain from the front and back of each component, following the wood grain. + Remove excess glaze from the face of components, allowing glaze to remain in natural door areas. + Perform seal sanding with the grain, from outer edges to the center, selecting appropriate sandpaper based on wood or stain type. **Essential Skills** + General labor + Production + Carpentry + Woodwork + Framing + Cabinetry + Tool usage + Sanding + Assembly + Staining + Painting + Assembly line work + Polishing + Woodworking + Machine operation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + At least 6 months of previous work experience. + Ability to lift 30 lbs. + Pass a tape measure test. + Capable of working in a fast-paced environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a range of benefits including access to an on-site fitness center with a certified personal trainer, and opportunities for promotion after just two weeks. The environment can be loud in certain areas, and safety glasses and ear protection are provided. Work hours are from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours on Saturdays. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and non-offensive clothing. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beresford, SD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
