**Job Title: General Laborer** **Pay:** $22.00/hr. **Shift:** 1st Shift **Location:** Barker, NY **** **Job Description** As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment around the job site. You will operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision, prepare and clean job sites, including removing debris, trenching, backfilling holes, and performing basic site excavation. You must follow all safety procedures and wear the required protective equipment. Additional duties will be assigned by the site supervisor or foreman. **Responsibilities** + Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment around the job site. + Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. + Prepare and clean job sites, including removing debris, trenching, and backfilling holes. + Perform basic site excavation. + Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment. + Perform other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or foreman. + Assist the machine operator with laying power lines. + Move and carry materials. **Essential Skills** + General labor skills. + Experience in production and construction. + Forklift operation. + Hand tool operation. + Ability to assist machine operators. + Reliability in performing tasks. + Experience with power tools. + Efficient loading skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required. + Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. + Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions. + Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment. + Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. **Why Work Here?** This short-term project offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.
