Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturer specializing in re-bar, structural beams, and staircase railings. With a new contract requiring the construction of plenums from sheet metal, this role involves assisting welders using basic hand tools and drills to assemble these crucial components used in data centers to manage heat transfer.

Responsibilities

Assist welders in the assembly of plenums using hand and power tools.Utilize basic hand tools and drills to complete assembly tasks.Follow blueprints and production guidelines to ensure accurate assembly.Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines.

Essential Skills

Experience in construction or manufacturing environments.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Mechanically inclined with the ability to stand, sit, and crouch as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in sheet metal fabrication and assembly.Background in carpentry, HVAC, or related fields.Familiarity with rough carpentry, framing, and commercial construction.

Work Environment

The position involves working outdoors in the yard temporarily, with plans to transition to a full-time indoor space. The role requires flexibility in hours, with shifts running from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and potential overtime during the first four weeks, Monday through Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
