**Job Title: General Production** $19/hr to $22/hr **Job Description** The role involves grinding and cleaning materials in accordance with engineering specifications and adhering to the production schedule. You may be assigned to various departments such as saw, bending, burn table, and brake press. This position requires heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for the entire shift, full range of motion, and occasionally holding pieces in place for short periods. The candidate will also perform first article part inspections on all dimensional points from blueprints and must be able to read a tape measure. **Responsibilities** + Follow directions and adapt quickly to a fast-paced production schedule and environment. + Understand and detect defective materials or questionable conditions. + Operate overhead/jib crane safely and efficiently. + Follow the production schedule and complete tasks as assigned. + Ensure all work is performed safely and professionally. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read a tape measure. + Mechanical aptitude and experience with operating overhead cranes. + Comfortable using metal fabrication and cutting equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + Experience in crane operation is preferred. + Proficiency with various hand and power tools. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that values its staff's tenure and offers a supportive work environment.
