Responsibilities

Mow, edge, fertilize, and water lawns to maintain healthy turf.Plant, prune, and trim trees, shrubs, and flowers.Remove weeds from gardens, flowerbeds, and other landscaped areas.Clear leaves, litter, and other debris from grounds and pathways.Perform snow and ice removal from walkways and parking lots during winter months

Work Environment

This position is entirely outdoors, requiring individuals to work in various weather conditions, rain or shine, hot or cold. The role involves keeping university grounds clean and well-maintained, with expectations to get dirty depending on the task. The work schedule is 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. Overtime is mandatory for snow removal in the winter.

This is a Contract position based out of Bloomington, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
