**Job Title: General Production Worker** Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. This role involves loading and unloading materials into and out of trucks, mixing materials to manufacture concrete blocks, and loading blocks onto conveyor belts. This is a physically demanding position, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Responsibilities + Load and unload materials from trucks to conveyor belts or pallets. + Mix materials to produce concrete blocks. + Load concrete blocks onto conveyor belts. + Perform general labor tasks in a production environment. Essential Skills + Ability to perform physically demanding work. + Capability to consistently lift 50 lbs throughout the day. + Willingness to stand on feet for the entire shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical skills or thinking is a plus. + Hands-on work experience in landscaping, construction, or athletics is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a general labor environment with a focus on concrete block manufacturing. The majority of work is outdoors but under a roof, with some exposure to dust from materials. Shifts are from 6 AM to 3 or 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturdays, expecting 45-55 hours a week. This is an ongoing contract position, potentially lasting up to 90 business days for hire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
