**Job Title: General Construction Laborer** Job Description Join a dynamic team engaged in constructing a large-scale construction project in Lenoir, NC. This multi-year project offers the opportunity to work with skilled and unskilled labor on a vast construction site. Responsibilities + Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction project sites. + Review jobsite needs with supervisors and superintendents to fully comprehend scopes of work per plans and specifications. + Assist with jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, and additional assignments as directed. + Inventory supplies and communicate supply orders for restocking. + Ensure trade employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with safety standards and regulations. + Understand and follow work instructions, project signage, and safety instructions. + Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and adhere to safety protocols. + Perform selected demolition and participate in subcontractor and supplier activities. + Review project perimeter for security and cleanliness daily. + Perform fire watch duties and construct scaffolding as needed. + Manage dumpster vendor schedule and maintain dumpster areas for cleanliness. + Perform as a spotter for heavy equipment operators. + Ensure security of equipment and work area during operations. + Identify, communicate, and escalate problems to supervisor for immediate resolution. + Track production of completed tasks and assist other craft workers as directed. + Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees. Essential Skills + 6+ months of construction experience. + Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools. + Ability to read and use a tape measure. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lenoir, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
