Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer, where you will be engaged in a variety of construction-related tasks including drilling, cutting, and fabricating. Support welders and fabricators by preparing materials, maintaining tools, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssist welders and fabricators with daily tasks.Prepare materials and tools needed for welding and fabrication.Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and tools.Load and unload materials and products.Operate basic hand and power tools.Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Assemble mechanical components and systems according to specifications.Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.Identify and report any issues or defects in the assembly process.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Essential SkillsExperience with general labor tasks.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a production or assembly environment is a plus.Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Work Environment
Work in a fast-paced, repetitive, and construction-related pre-fabrication shop. The environment includes exposure to noise, dust, and equipment. Employees must wear steel toe boots, safety glasses, long pants, and t-shirts. The standard work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
