**Job Title: General Laborer** Job Description We are seeking dedicated Production Workers to join our team in a saw helper position. In this role, you will prepare extruded aluminum to be loaded into age ovens. Your responsibilities include moving large pieces of aluminum in collaboration with another saw helper, working closely with the Saw Operator to ensure adherence to quality compliance and customer specifications, and inspecting for quality defects. You will be responsible for scrapping defective material and using a forklift to transfer materials. Responsibilities + Prepare extruded aluminum for age ovens. + Collaborate with a team member to move large aluminum pieces. + Ensure quality compliance and adhere to customer specifications. + Inspect materials for quality defects and scrap defective items. + Use a forklift to transfer materials safely. Essential Skills + Experience with general labor and production work. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Ability to operate a forklift. + Experience with assembly and packaging. + Capability to read and understand dimensional prints. + Skill in operating measuring devices. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with large industrial equipment. + Adherence to safety requirements and protocols. + Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots) at all times. + Ability to comply with quality management system policies and procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coburg, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.65 - $20.15/hr.
