**Job Title: General Laborer** Job Description As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of a flour mill. Your primary duties will include sweeping up flour dust and ensuring the plant is clean to meet safety standards. You will also be involved in blowing flour off equipment and sweeping it up, as well as performing lockout/tagout procedures when cleaning inside equipment. There is an opportunity for cross-training in packing, milling, and other areas, with the potential for conversion to a rotating schedule after three months. Responsibilities + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the flour mill. + Sweep and manage flour dust and debris. + Perform lockout/tagout procedures for equipment cleaning. + Participate in cross-training for packing, milling, and other tasks. + Ensure compliance with safety standards. Essential Skills + Experience in production, cleaning, and packing. + Mechanical experience and ability to read blueprints. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a schedule. + Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning milling. + Comfortable with computers and data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical aptitude and good with hands. + Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. + Strong math aptitude and ability to count accurately. + Ability to read and write effectively. + Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
