Job Title: General Laborer

Pay: $21/hr

Location: Richmond, VA

Schedule: 4:30am- 2:30pm Monday- Friday OR 2:30pm- 12:30am Monday- Friday

Job Description

As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in moving materials and installing metal frames to enhance safety procedures. You must be comfortable with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, in a loud and fast-paced environment. Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

Move materials and help install metal frames to improve safety procedures.Build and assemble metal frames and gating on the robotics floor.Install fencing, sensors, and video screens in the pick/pack stations to enhance safety and operational efficiencies.Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to read a tape measure.Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 45 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in general labor, construction, production, or carpentry.Punctuality and reliability.Safety consciousness and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse environment that is loud and can be chaotic. The position requires availability for shifts from Monday to Friday, with the potential for additional hours. Shifts are available in two blocks: 1st shift from 4:30 am to 2:00 pm and 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
